DataHub is a SaaS solution that automates the collection, transformation, and analytics of data from a myriad of marketing platforms and business systems that our customers use to run their business.
This role’s primary focus is to own and drive solutions and processes for data quality and client success. You will bootstrap Sproutward’s Data Reliability Engineering (DRE), drive Sproutward Engineering’s use of scrum and kanban, and work with product owners on story grooming. You will work with Engineering leadership to continually improve these processes, develop DRE roadmap and vision, as well as influence Sproutward’s product-engineering culture.
Key responsibilities:
- Share ownership scrum and kanban practice with engineering
- Run and develop scrum and kanban practice
- Work with product owners on story grooming
- Own, build, and drive monitoring and observability solutions and break-fix processes
- Own, build, and drive delivery solutions and processes including CICD
- Own processes and influence solutions where Sproutward operations meet client
- Automate, automate, automate
Ideal candidate has a passion for customer success and a background in areas of IT operations that directly influence customer success in addition to experience running scrum or kanban and story grooming. Additionally, this candidate ideally has the skills and experience to build a PMO (program management) and would enjoy influencing and building this practice from nascency. A good candidate is a senior project manager or PM manager with an IT business analyst skill set that is ready to own and build Sproutward’s DRE organization and practices. A senior SRE engineer or SRE manager are also good candidates. It is expected that a candidate is a go-getter, self-starter, and has answers and points of view that will help grow engineering and customer success at Sproutward.
